What we use
You can read, listen and practice without an account. Guest learning records are kept in memory while you use the app and are not saved to our server or your device. Language display, theme and playback speed are saved on your device as preferences.
If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account ID, name and email. We use these to create and connect your Haru Korean account and keep you signed in. We save signed-in learning records on our server: chapter and question IDs, selected answers, correct answers, progress and activity dates. These records let you see your progress and learning graphs.
Sign-in and storage
Google handles sign-in under its Privacy Policy. We do not receive your Google password. Connections to our service use HTTPS. The Android app stores a service session token in secure device storage; the website uses an HttpOnly session cookie. We do not store learning records in browser localStorage.
Sharing and advertising
We do not sell personal data, show ads or include an advertising or third-party analytics SDK. Google processes sign-in information to provide its authentication service. Our hosting server processes requests needed to operate the app. Technical error records can include connection information such as an IP address; they are used for security and troubleshooting, not advertising.
Retention and deletion
Your account and learning records stay on our server until you delete your Haru Korean account. Account deletion removes the account profile, all learning records and all service sessions from our active database. This cannot be undone. Your Google account is not deleted. Technical server error logs are kept for up to 30 days.

Your choices and contact
Sign-in is optional. You can view learning records in My account, sign out, or delete your account. If you cannot access your account or have a privacy request, contact pygoda6@gmail.com. We use the contact information and message you provide to handle your request.
Changes
We will update this page and its effective date when our data practices change.

하루한국어는 회원가입 없이 읽기·듣기·문제 풀이를 이용할 수 있습니다. 비회원 학습 기록은 사용 중 메모리에만 존재하며 서버나 기기에 영구 저장하지 않습니다. 영어 표시·테마·재생 속도는 기기 설정으로 저장합니다.
Google 로그인을 선택하면 Google 계정 식별자·이름·이메일을 받아 하루한국어 계정 생성·연결과 로그인 유지에 사용합니다. 로그인한 회원의 챕터·문제 식별자, 선택한 답, 정답 여부, 진행 상태, 학습 일시를 서버에 저장하여 학습 기록과 그래프를 제공합니다.
Google 비밀번호는 받지 않습니다. 서비스 통신은 HTTPS를 사용하며 앱의 세션 토큰은 보안 저장소, 웹의 세션은 HttpOnly 쿠키로 관리합니다. 학습 기록을 localStorage에 저장하지 않습니다. 개인정보를 판매하지 않으며 광고나 제3자 분석 SDK를 포함하지 않습니다. Google은 자체 개인정보처리방침에 따라 로그인을 처리하고, 호스팅 서버는 서비스 제공에 필요한 요청을 처리합니다. 보안·문제 해결을 위한 기술 오류 기록에는 IP 등 접속 정보가 포함될 수 있으며 최대 30일 보관합니다.
계정과 학습 기록은 계정 삭제 시까지 보관합니다. 앱 또는 웹의 내 계정 → 계정 및 학습 기록 삭제 → 계정 삭제에서 삭제하면 활성 데이터베이스의 계정 정보·모든 학습 기록·서비스 세션이 삭제되며 복구할 수 없습니다. Google 계정은 삭제되지 않습니다.
로그인은 선택 사항이며 내 계정에서 기록 조회·로그아웃·계정 삭제를 할 수 있습니다. 계정에 접근할 수 없거나 개인정보 관련 요청이 있다면 pygoda6@gmail.com으로 문의하세요. 문의 시 제공한 연락처와 내용은 요청 처리에 사용합니다.
